The British Snow Tour isn't all about competition, we have also developed a schools tour to spread the word about snowboarding and skiing and provide FREE introductory lessons to introduce kids to the amazing facilities on their doorstep. View our Snowlife Schools Tour EVENT case study or PR case study which is part of the main tour

We are offering over 1000 FREE 30-45 minute introductory lessons, which equates to approx 200 kids trying snowboarding or skiing for the 1st time at each British Snow Tour event. Sign up for a FREE Snowboard OR Ski lesson and receive an event bag full of free stuff just for having a go!

At each school we are taking over the sports hall/assembly hall during a structured presentation to show specially edited video's with commentary from an MC, talking about the different disciplines (Halfpipe, Big Air, Slopestyle, Boardercross) and styles of snowboarding/ skiing (Big Mountain Free-riding, Freestyle, Jibbing). We run through product (kids dressed up as models), safety (transceiver demo), jobs, image, travel, languages, the positive effects snowboarding can have etc. then we have video's from leading release's playing for kids to watch at their leisure.

Once the talks are done, the kids are invited to checkout the stalls where all of the product is laid out for a hands on experience. With top pro riders there to answer any questions, sign autographs and get the kids psyched about the sports. During this period we give out tons of stickers and posters all donated by our generous sponsors which as you can imagine proves particularly popular!

If you are a school in close proximity of any of the British Snow Tour events and interested in hosting the Schools Programme then please contact info@soulsports.co.uk.

A Quote from JAMES GILLESPIE'S HIGH SCHOOL (EDINBURGH)

" During morning & lunchtime break AIM Snowboard Series delivered a presentation at James Gillespie's High School in Edinburgh.

Approximately 250 young people were entertained with video footage of incredible snowboarding activity throughout the world.

A cross-curricular slant was introduced when the young audience were encouraged to pursue their learning of German and French as second languages.

Information was always available form the experts who were the elite of their sport in this country.

When gifts were given away free, this delight was only superseded by one boy who won a bag full of video's, T-shirts and stickers in a free raffle.

This was the first time event in our school but we look forward to hosting another presentation in the knowledge that such events, enriches the life and experience in our school.

Hamish Tom
Principal Teacher of Extra Curricular Sport"
