Woody Madera (formally DJ Woody) is known the world over as a DJ innovator having invented a host of groundbreaking scratch techniques, helped Vestax design the worlds first musical turntable & won 5 major DJ titles. He's shared a stage with Eminem, Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill, The Black Eyed Peas & Snoop Dog, has toured with Madlib , recorded with Aquasky & Tim Simenon, was a member of DJ Vadim's world famous Russian Percussion and Ninjatunes' supergroup One Self and currently DJ's for Latin hip hop superstar and Grammy Nominee Mala Rodriguez (Universal). RODNEY P

Since his days in the seminal group London Posse (whose debut album 'Gangsta Chronicle' was voted 'Most Important UK Hip Hop Album of All Time' in Hip Hop Connections 2007 poll) Rodney P has been widely regarded as the Godfather of British rap. He is recognised as Britain's most eligible candidate for Hip-Hop ambassador as a solo artist, in collaborations with fellow Hip Hop giants like Rootz Manuva, Black Twang, The Next Men and mainstream artists like Bjork. For 13 years legendary club Scratch has been a leading player in UK hip hop culture from DJing & rapping to breaking & street art. MATT SMOOTH has rocked and popped the hip hop world of Scratch for the best part of 14 years this year he returns to the Swiss Alps crashing in on the sledge with a bag of tapes and a ghetto blasterok more like a sack of sweet beats and 7 gold to drop on the comps, Apres throwdown and Scratch club night. Trust me your in good company for a digital funk injected week of madness with the hip hop smooth dog himselfthe sound system will be live!!

LYLEY - an original Scratch team player has been spinning records since way back when flat tops reigned. Ran Scratch Edinburgh Scratch in '97 hosting his favourite, now legendary, artists like Public Enemy, De La Soul, Slum Village, Madlib and many others. Lyley was also founding member of Underground Solushn, Scotland's leading record shop in specialist music, where hip hop and funk were his forte. As well as djing Lyley is an accomplished graphic designer taking care of Scratch artwork and currently directing a film documentary about vinyl record culture. Bring on the beats!

RICHY PITCH has been Scratch's resident DJ since Day 1. Also known for his handy production skills Mr P is about to drop a heavyweight LP of songs recorded during a 2 year stay in sunny Ghana, West Africa on the very cool BBE label. He is also writing a book on beat-making for book publisher Cengage in the US, cementing his talent as beat-maker extraordinaire. Always ready to rock the discotheque, Mr Pitch will be supplying the Hip-Hop party classics to keep the crowds jumping.

TOMSKI - Altered Vibes record partner and Scratchs newest member Tom(ski) rides into Laxx for the first time this year packing an arsenal of rump shaking, avalanche induced Hip Hop bangers. Sure to whip up a storm on the pistes and in da club, you're in safe hands with the one and only Tomskiiiiiiiiiiiii !!!!!!!!
