BST & BRITS EVENTS

Kids (KM or KW): Born in 1998 or after

Youth (YM or YW): Born in 1995, 1996 or 1997

Junior (JM or JW): Born in 1992, 1993 or 1994

Overall (OM or OW): Born in 1991 or any year between and including 1981

Master (MM or MW): Born in 1980 or before

NB: KM = Kids Men, KW = Kids Women etc…

We are getting more and more young competitors on the tour and whilst we can't add any more age categories, we've decided to move them around a little allowing the riders to spend 3 years in Junior, 3 years in Youth. This leaves the Kids category finishing 2 years sooner, at about the 12 and under mark.

Special Notes

Snowboardcross and Skiercross - Kids, Youth, Junior & Masters competing in either Snowboardcross or Skiercross can opt to compete in the Overall category but MUST INFORM REGISTRATION upon collection of their Bib.
N.B. The Overall category is where the National Champions are crowned and cash prizes awarded.

Big Air, Slopestyle and Halfpipe - Kids, Youth, Junior & Masters competing in Big Air, Slopestyle and Halfpipe will automatically be placed in both their "Age" category and "Overall" category. Making it possible to win both.

FIS EVENTS (for your reference)

FIS international Halfpipe competitions - If you are born in 1997 you have become eligible to compete.

FIS international BA, BX and Alpine competitions - If you are born in 1995, 1994,1993 etc... then you have become eligible to compete

FIS International junior competitions are restricted to those competitors whose 20th birthday falls in or after the "Calendar Year" in question.

FIS Junior Worlds - If you are born in 1991 or later then you are eligible to compete.

Junior Olympics - If you are born in 1994 or 1995 then you are eligible to compete.
